Asexuality is an umbrella term and exists on a spectrum.

It is the absence of sexual attraction and little interest or desire in engaging in sexual activities.

Asexuality is a valid sexual orientation, it is related to sexual attraction, not the act of sex itself.

Asexual people, known as “Ace” or “Aces” either do not or very rarely experience sexual attraction towards anyone, of any sex or gender.

Studies indicate that approximately 1% of the world’s population identifies as Asexual. That is almost 78 million people!
